Our Story
You probably know Lee Frank as owner/chef of Otis Restaurant in Exeter, NH, or from his tenure as executive chef in some of the finest restaurants on the Seacoast. What you don’t know is that Lee has always had a desire to open a burger and hot dog joint where everyone can enjoy his all-time favorite meal: a cheeseburger with a side of chili fries and a strawberry shake.
He cut his culinary teeth flipping burgers at a busy roadside shack in Los Angeles when he was only 15 years old and graduated to griddling hot dogs a year later at a popular hole-in-the-wall in the San Fernando Valley. He’s carried a passion for that classic all-American food with him ever since, and he’s excited to now be able to bring his favorites to downtown South Berwick where he and his other favorites—his family—call home.
